                            CHRISTMAS MENU

Starters 

Smoked trout & horseradish pate with Melba toast 

Venison carpaccio with a horseradish cream & redcurrant compote

(V) Savoury cheesecake with red onion & thyme marmalade 

Seasonal game terrine with tomato chutney

Maple syrup glazed king scallops with bacon & a carrot & beetroot purée 



Mains 

Slow braised Venison, creamy mash, roast mushrooms, bacon lardons, red wine sauce 

Free range turkey served with all the trimmings 

(V) spiced vegetable filo parcel with raita and new potatoes

Baked cod with a chorizo & herb crust, new potatoes greens & beurre noisette

Confit duck with a vegetable fricasse, fondant potato & cranberry sauce

(V) Ravioli filled with confit beetroot, thyme & smoked garlic butter

Honey & cumin roasted gammon, a black pudding & apple potato cake, and orange sauce



Desserts 

Sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce & ice cream 

Christmas pudding with brandy butter 

Boozy trifle with strawberrys & glayva 

Cheeseboard, chutney, biscuits & port (£3 supplement)
